We’re hosting a training with Delaware’s Attorney General’s Office on how to spot and avoid common scams. While our volunteers aren’t being specifically targeted, we’ve seen an increase in schemes that take advantage of our volunteers, and we want to help you stay protected.
I remember when I was a police officer, many folks would fall victim to a common scam where someone pretended to be their grandchild, claiming to be in trouble with the police in another country and needing money wired right away.
On Wed, October 22 at 12pm, Join Chief Inspector Alan Rachko and some of the RAD team to learn more about the scams going on out there today, and how you can protect yourself and your family.
While this event is geared toward Read Aloud Delaware volunteers, all are welcome, feel free to share and invite anyone interested.
Thank you,
Thank you,
